Frequently Asked Questions
Is A.C.T.S. accredited or seeking such?
There are multiple forms of accreditation within the United States educational system. The current regional accreditation system through the USDE is an expensive and tedious program, and is not required for theological programs. A.C.T.S. is classified as "religious training" under the educational code with acknowledgement of such as a legal, non-profit educational entity. All diplomas, certificates, and licenses are legal documents, certifying completion of our programs, registration, and competency.
At current, A.C.T.S. is recognized for its excellent educational standards that exceed requirements worldwide. While we may pursue formal accreditation at some point, we are not right now.
How long do A.C.T.S. programs take to complete?
A.C.T.S. programs are designed for completion in 3.5-4 years, given one is consistent in assignment completion and follows the year-long continuous study.
Unlike some programs, A.C.T.S. offers continuous enrollment and courses throughout the year, with a class break upon completion of each class (or every 5-6 weeks for longer classes), plus a three-week long break at the end of the year. Our year is divided into two terms: January-June and July-December.
Does A.C.T.S. offer scholarships?
Because we are donation-based, we do not offer scholarships, nor do we waive tuition fees at this time.
Is there an application fee?
No. Applying to A.C.T.S. is free.
Can I teach an A.C.T.S. curriculum or class in my Bible college or seminary?
Yes. Please contact us for licensing information and authorization.
Can we operate a branch of A.C.T.S. outside the United States?
As A.C.T.S. can be done from anywhere in the world online, we do not allow branch representation nor branch establishment in other parts of the world at this time.
Do I have to be Pentecostal to study at A.C.T.S.?
No. We welcome Christian women and members of the LGBTQ+ community as well as men to study in our program.
Do you accept only men in your program?
No. Christians of all denominations are welcome.
Can someone take a class without matriculation?
Yes. Students who are non-matriculated pay a set fee per class (not based in an offering but credit-hour cost) and are welcome to study with us for as long as they like. Whether picking up one class or an occasional one here or there, non-matriculated students are also welcome to study with us.
